Sales Policy
Treasured Angoras strives to breed the highest quality rabbits I can, that excel both on the show table and in the hearts of their owners. I raise sweet, healthy babies. I may, at times, have rabbits that I don’t deem show quality. When this happens, they may be available as fiber rabbits and will come without pedigrees. I will not sell as pets. Rabbits are placed in accordance with their needs, which may or may not line up with interested buyer’s desires.
I require a deposit, generally 50% of the price, to hold your rabbit for you. If rabbits are not picked up by the date agreed upon, a $5 per week, per rabbit, fee may be applied for the additional care provided. In the event that you need to change the pick-up date, I suggest you contact us immediately.
No rabbit will leave our rabbitry before the age of 8 weeks. NO EXCEPTIONS. I prefer to keep our rabbits until they are 10-12 weeks old.
No rabbit will be sold if it is determined to be in poor health. Rabbits are fragile creatures. It is up to you to follow the care instructions given upon picking up your rabbit. A good amount of food will be sent with your rabbit for you to transition them over to your food. In addition, we recommend you provide lots of hay to ease the transition. Because I cannot know how you cared for your rabbit, in the event your rabbit dies, I will NOT refund or replace it, unless a vet determines the cause of death was genetic or something that occurred before it left my home with in a weeks time of leaving. A vet report is required for this. It is recommended that you take your rabbit straight home after picking it up. Any stops should be as brief as possible, as rabbits can overheat and die quickly in a hot vehicle or in the sun. A rabbit needs lots of water. If a rabbit isn't drinking water it isn't likely eating either. Unless the rabbit dies as soon a you get it home from dehyderation it is your fault it died. If you don't not correctly transition its feed it can have failure to thrive. This is not due to the rabbit being unhealthy. Rabbits are fragile. Initial_______
I provide ongoing support for all of my rabbits. In the event you have any questions or concerns, please contact me immediately.
In the event you can no longer care for your rabbits, I will do our best to accept them back. If this happens, no refund will be given. Once you purchase a rabbit, that money you paid goes straight back to my rabbits. Initial_______
If you would like your rabbit shown before you pick it up, you must pay the entry fees, generally $3.50 per rabbit per show. This amount varies by show.
We cannot guarantee how any rabbit will place in a show, though all rabbits sold as show quality will be free of DQs to the best of our knowledge. Initial_______
I cannot guarantee the gender or fertility of your rabbit. I do our absolute best, but sometimes they’re just sneaky. In the event your rabbit “changes sex” before you pick it up, I will do our best to find an alternative rabbit for you, if desired. Initial________
If your rabbit dies before you pick it up, I will do my best to find an alternative for you. This will be handled on a case by case basis.
I reserve the right to cancel any sale at any time if I feel it is in the best interest of the rabbit. In this event, you will be given a full refund of any payments made within 7 business days. Initial__________
Sales Agreement
By purchasing a rabbit from us, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.
* You agree to the general sales policy, listed above.______
* You agree to keep our rabbitry prefix as a part of your rabbit’s full name, permanently (show/pedigreed rabbits.) ______
* In the event you can no longer care for your rabbit, you agree to return it to us before resorting to surrendering it to a shelter. ____
* You agree to provide basic care, which includes food, water, shelter and frequent grooming (including nail trimming!)______
* You agree to check your rabbit’s teeth and nails on a weekly basis. ________
* You agree to the payment, deposit and pick-up terms. ______
* You understand that we do not refund or replace rabbits without a vet report that proves we made an error that resorted to the loss of your rabbit.

Specific Sales Contract
In addition to the policies above, there is also a specific contract, which pertains to you and your specific rabbit.
You have received information regarding the age, lineage, and quality of these rabbits, and you understand that they may not do well if shown. The initial deposit of _____ is due on _____. After the _____ deposit is made, you will have a remaining balance of $_____, due by _______. Payments may be made monthly, weekly, or biweekly, but shall total $100 every 4 weeks (unless of course there is not $100 remaining on your balance.)
If full payment is not received by _____, the rabbits may be put up for sale again. Please notify me ASAP if you need longer to pay.
The rabbits are scheduled to be picked up by _______. They may be picked up any time after __________, so long as they are paid for prior to pick up. If they are not picked up by _______, you will have 3 days to contact me regarding alternate pick up plans. If no contact is made, then you forfeit the rabbits, along with any payments made. If the rabbits are still in my custody awaiting pick up as of ________, then a $5 per rabbit fee will be assessed for the care of the rabbits. This fee will recur every 7 days until the rabbits are picked up.
In the event a rabbit dies before being picked up, then we will try to replace them with an alternate rabbit. If an alternate cannot be found, then we will look at a future litter, or possible refund. Cash refunds are a last resort. In the event that a cash refund is the only suitable course of action, said refund will be made within 30 days.
