On January 19th I made it to the first show in a long time. I took 9 juniors, which was a lot of grooming. Winter Vengeance and Winter Snow were 10 weeks and others were 12 weeks old and going through transition. My blue buck won BOS, which was a surprise win for me. He has great density, but his shoulders are longer than the others and he wasn't transitioning yet. Looking forward to more shows in the coming months.

It has been ages since I have been on here. The last two years have been busy and difficult. A tick left me barely functioning and I had made the decision to sell out, because I was barely able to walk and grooming was out of the question. But a good doctor and antibiotics for a month has made most of the symptoms disappear. Thankfully, I kept 4 rabbits and am looking forward to showing again.
My first litter for the coming show year is a month old and my second litter of 3 was born yesterday. Love those small litters. I keep up on pictures on the fb page,Treasured Anogoras. Sunkissed Bunnies was the name of my rabbitry when I had English lops, too. I went out to Washington state and brought home 4 more bunnies plus the two bunnies I brought home from Nationals. I am very pleased with the lines and bunnies I have now. I brought home DustiBunni's Belle a blue Opal, from Nationals. From Washington I brought home Thistle Brook's Mr Finch, Windle Rabbits Cookie, she has both dusti bunni and Chu lines (big smile). Windle Rabbits Chocolate E Clair, she also has Chu lines. As does Mr Finch. Combined with Tadashi's Resplendence with chu lines I have lots of chu lines. I also have HFH Gunner with Starbuck lines. Yes, I do believe I have some lovely rabbits.
All the babies are getting cute, I can never get any work done because I just want to play with them. Here are some growth pictures.
We are over flowing with lots of gorgeous bunnies. 24Karrot S'mores had 8 babies, and Bungalow of Bunnies Buttercup had ten, TEN babies how is this even possible? The sire is Heart Felt Hares Gunner, 6 of them are REW, I hope there will be some great ones in the group. Gracie's and Mai's babies are now ready to go. They are gorgeous but way to many bucks. If you are looking for something specific let me know. I love helping people get what they need.
January, 7 2015 I checked on Tickets Babies to day. I keep thinking they are only a week old, but I noticed their eyes are open and so they must be older than I thought. I am so glad I wrote the date down when they were born. I am so excited to grow them out and see how well they will do on the show table. I also have Snow Drop in the nest box with her four babies. I rest so much easier after they are a few weeks old. I know she has one tort and a Black VC and two colors that I have yet to decide on, I am guessing a few more days and I should be able to tell. 01/17/2015
Tickets babies are getting big as are Snow Drops. The kids had Tickets babies out to day playing with them. Eric worked on the rabbit run for them, since the weather was nice. Gracie, Oreo and Mia, along with Blossom enjoyed the yard until a red Tail Hawked showed up, of course Blossom is very smart and knows all the best resting places to escape Hawks and dogs. Gracie was excited to be outside. It has been since the beginning of November, and the Garage floor is not the same as grass. |
